US launches massive strikes on Iran, Iran prepares retaliatory attacks on US bases
The U.S. Central Command confirmed attacks on July 8 on around 90 Iranian military facilities, including air defenses, coastal posts, missile and drone storage sites, naval and logistics facilities along the coast. Explosions were reported in Jask, on Abu Musa Island, and near the Bushehr nuclear plant. Iranian media reported that the control tower at Chabahar port was destroyed and rocket fragments hit a hospital. Trump claimed Iran offered a deal after the attacks, saying, 'They really want it, but I don’t know if they deserve it,' according to CNN. Iranian outlet NourNews reported Iran is preparing a massive response against U.S. bases soon. The IRGC has already struck U.S. bases in Kuwait (‘Ali al-Salem’, ‘Arifjan’) and Bahrain (‘Al-Jufair’, ‘Sheikh Isa’), according to Press TV.
