US left thousands of tons of hazardous waste in Greenland

According to the newspaper Politiken, large amounts of hazardous waste, including hundreds of thousands of liters of diesel fuel and weakly radioactive water, have been found at dozens of US military bases abandoned after the end of the Cold War. All this is damaging the island's environment.
