US strategic bomber B-52H crashes after takeoff from Edwards Air Force Base
A new aviation disaster has occurred in the US. A B-52H Stratofortress strategic bomber crashed shortly after takeoff from Edwards Air Force Base. Eight crew members died. The death of all on board was confirmed by US Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall. According to him, among the dead were military personnel, civilian specialists, and contractors. The crash occurred at the beginning of a test flight.
