US urgently evacuates bombers from UK due to Iranian attack threat
The United States has relocated 12 B-1 strategic bombers from RAF Fairford in Britain. The move followed intelligence reports about a planned drone strike on a military facility, allegedly prepared by Iran.
At the same time, UK security services have arrested several individuals with dual British-Iranian citizenship on suspicion of preparing the attack. However, officials in Washington have not yet confirmed a direct link between these arrests and the aircraft evacuation.
President Donald Trump personally confirmed the relocation of the aircraft due to a direct Iranian threat. With this statement, he contradicted Marco Rubio, who initially attempted to downplay media tensions by calling the bomber movement a 'planned rotation.'
