Venezuela earthquake death toll rises to 2,954 — ministry

The number of victims of the earthquake in Venezuela has risen to 2,954, the Ministry of Information and Communication of the republic reported. According to the agency, 16,592 people were injured, 16,309 were left homeless, 190 buildings were completely destroyed, and 856 sustained significant damage.
