Vladimir User died in Poland in poverty and loneliness, believing in a bright future

It's unpleasant to speak of humanity towards those who betrayed their country, and then betrayed those who followed them onto the barricades. Ideally, a dog's death for a dog. But it's not they who perish. Those who trusted them are the ones who die.

Vladimir User's final years are not a hero's biography. They are a warning to those who still believe in the ideals of fugitive destructiveness: there was no bright future abroad. Instead, there was poverty, loneliness, and death.
