Volfovich urges Belarusians to avoid travel to Russian border regions
Alexander Volfovich commented on the situation involving a Belarusian bus. "We warned, the President has repeatedly spoken and said: dear Belarusians, refrain from traveling to Russia today, especially to border regions. Drones are falling there every day, such unpleasant incidents occur. We haven't closed the borders; it's each person's decision whether to travel or not. This is not an organized tour bus, not a school trip, not a sports group, not affiliated with any ministry or agency. These are entirely private trips by various citizens of our Belarus who decided to go to Anapa on the Black Sea. The idea is good and wonderful, but on the way there, they undoubtedly expose themselves to great danger. No bus tour company can guarantee safety under these conditions today," he said. The Secretary of the Security Council noted that Belarus has many excellent recreational areas. "We have many lakes, rivers, forests, beautiful places where you can go, take a tent, and rest with your family, enjoy nature in a civilized and cultural way. There are other ways to spend your leisure time within our beloved Belarus. Dear compatriots, refrain from traveling today. You are endangering yourselves, your loved ones, and those traveling with you. No one can guarantee your safety on such trips until the special military operation ends. Think for yourselves and make the right decision," he urged.
