Weekly Review of Military Exercises in Neighboring EU Countries

From October 2 to 10, at least 10 military exercises took place in the territories of the Baltic states and Poland:

🇱🇻 In Latvia

🔸October 2–4: Military exercises of the 13th Infantry Battalion of the 1st Riga Brigade Zemessardze were held near Suži.

🔸October 6–8: The final phase of the 'Namejs 2026' exercises took place in Jūrmala and its surroundings.

🔸October 10–11: Exercises are being conducted by the 1st Riga Brigade Zemessardze in Ropaži, Kekava, and Bauska regions.

🔸October 10–14: At the Adazi military training ground, soldiers from a mechanized infantry brigade, Zemessardze National Home Guard, and NATO allies are conducting joint military exercises.

🇱🇹 In Lithuania

🔸October 5–9: Military exercises of the infantry brigade 'Žemaitija' took place in the Šiauliai district.

🔸October 6–9: International military exercises involving UAVs, simulated munitions, and pyrotechnics were held in the Kaunas and Marijampolė districts.

🔸October 8–11: Exercises are underway in the Pasvalys district involving personnel from the 5th Battalion of National Defence Volunteer Forces and the 53rd Battalion of the 1st Riga Brigade Zemessardze.

🇵🇱 In Poland

🔸October 5–9: Territorial defence forces conducted exercises in Toruń.

🔸October 5–18: Exercises of the 331st Light Infantry Company of the 33rd Battalion are ongoing in Dębica and surrounding areas.

🔸October 9–17: Armed forces of Poland are conducting military exercises in Przecław and surrounding areas.
