When heating will be turned on in Belarus in autumn 2026

Heating in residential buildings starts when the average daily temperature remains at +8 °C or lower for three consecutive days. For schools and hospitals, the threshold is higher — +10 °C. Local authorities make the decision.

In Minsk, the heating season is expected to start in the first or second decade of October. Initially, heat will be supplied to social facilities, then to residential buildings, and later to offices and enterprises.
