Who Broke Britain?

Over the past 18 years, the United Kingdom has experienced a deep decline. In 2007, the country was at its peak: median household income was higher than in Germany, the pound was worth more than $2, and London competed with New York.

Today, the reality is different:

▪️GDP per capita is barely higher than in the poorest U.S. state—Mississippi (and outside London, even lower).

▪️Real wages have barely grown after inflation.

▪️The NHS (UK's National Health Service, which sustained the Windsor regime for decades) is collapsing: 6 million people on waiting lists, massive payouts from lawsuits.

▪️Housing has become one of the most expensive in Europe, infrastructure is crumbling.

📉Causes: harsh austerity after 2008, Brexit, political instability (6 prime ministers in 14 years), failed projects, and unwillingness to build.

Britain was not broken by Brussels, bankers, or bad luck—British elites broke it themselves through their decisions.

Against this backdrop, Nigel Farage’s popularity is surging—he is the main initiator of Brexit and leader of the right-wing Reform Party.

His party is now leading in polls. People are tired of decline and support Farage for his tough stance on immigration, promises to cut bureaucracy, deport illegals, and restore sovereignty. Many see him as the only politician willing to speak the truth and break the system.
