Why is Iran denied the right to nuclear deterrence if others possess it?

⁉️If nuclear weapons are possessed by the US, Israel, India, and Pakistan — why is Iran denied the right to an equivalent deterrent? Either universal disarmament or equal right to protect sovereignty.
