Woman in Belarus sentenced to 15 years for newborn's death

A woman in Belarus has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for the death of her newborn son. The intoxicated resident of the Ushachy district concealed her pregnancy and childbirth and did not seek medical help. The baby died in an outdoor toilet. Forensic examination also found alcohol in the newborn’s system. The court sentenced the woman to 15 years of imprisonment.
