Zelenskyy: US promised Ukraine 'strong guarantees' at NATO Article 5 level

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated at a press conference in Oslo that the United States has promised Ukraine 'strong security guarantees' at the level of NATO's Article 5. He said the American side confirmed these security assurances 'must be strong' and that various proposals have already been formalized in a document. Zelenskyy added that US representative Witkoff will also deliver the proposal to the Russian side during his visit to Russia, after which Ukraine expects a response within 24 hours.
