Overview
A charming ride through the Belarusian countryside aboard a historic 1969 narrow-gauge railway car. The small train chugs through snow-dusted forests in winter and sun-dappled woodland in summer, offering a uniquely atmospheric experience. In the colder months, hot mulled wine is prepared on a real stove right inside the car, and the journey includes a warming picnic stop in the forest.
History
The narrow-gauge railway was originally built to serve the local peat briquette industry, transporting fuel from the bogs to processing facilities. As industrial use declined, the line was preserved as a heritage attraction — one of the few remaining operational narrow-gauge railways in Belarus. The vintage 1969 passenger car has been lovingly maintained, and the route now includes a visit to the historic peat briquette factory.
