Overview
The Puslowski Palace in Kossovo is a romantic Neo-Gothic fantasy brought to life in brick and stone. With its twelve towers — one for each month of the year — the palace was designed to evoke the spirit of a medieval knight's castle. Recently restored to its former glory, it is one of Belarus's most impressive architectural landmarks.
History
Commissioned in the 19th century by industrialist Wandalin Puslowski, the palace was built near the birthplace of Tadeusz Kosciuszko, the famous freedom fighter. The building was severely damaged during World War II and stood as a romantic ruin for decades before Belarus undertook a major restoration project that returned it to its original splendor.
