Overview
A vast open-air military museum built around authentic WWII-era fortifications of the "Stalin Line" — a chain of defensive bunkers that stretched along the Soviet Union's western border in the 1930s. The complex houses a remarkable collection of Soviet military hardware: tanks, artillery, aircraft, armored vehicles, and reconstructed trenches and bunkers visitors can enter and explore. In winter, it transforms into the "Headquarters of General Ded Moroz" — where Grandfather Frost arrives on a Soviet T-50 tank and children complete reconnaissance missions through secret military objects.
History
The Stalin Line was a system of fortified regions built along the USSR's western border during the 1920s–1930s. The historical-cultural complex was created in 2005 to preserve this military heritage, restoring original bunkers and assembling one of the largest collections of Soviet military equipment in the former USSR. The site serves both as a serious historical monument and a family-friendly attraction — a rare combination that makes it one of the most visited sites near Minsk.
