2,977 drones form Twin Towers silhouette over New York Harbor

Over New York Harbor, 2,977 drones formed the outline of the Twin Towers—one light for each life lost on September 11, 2001. The light installation '2,977 Lights Over New York Harbor' appeared in the night sky two days before the 25th anniversary of the attacks. The drones first gathered in a spiral, then assembled into the architectural-scale silhouettes of the World Trade Center for several minutes.
