66-year-old American becomes world's oldest active competitive skateboarder

The Guinness World Records website reported that 66-year-old American Judy Oyama has become the world's oldest active competitive skateboarder. She first rode a skateboard at age 13 when her brother brought home a board made in a woodworking class. In 1975, she began competing professionally, despite the near absence of women's categories at the time. In 2003, at age 43, she won the world slalom championship. Oyama has now broken her own record as the world's oldest female skateboarder.
