Three arrested in Athens for gas theft that caused deadly explosion

In Athens, police have arrested three individuals whose attempt to steal components of the gas infrastructure triggered a powerful explosion in a residential building, resulting in fatalities, according to the Greek publication Kathimerini.

Among those arrested are two Greek citizens and one Albanian national. According to investigators, the men were trying to dismantle and steal copper pipes connected to a gas meter.
