About 1,200 consumers in Lithuania remain without electricity after powerful storm
About 1,200 consumers in Lithuania remain without electricity more than two weeks after the powerful storm. Recall that cyclone "Priska" on August 22-23 affected several European countries and caused unprecedented power outages. Power lines were damaged during thunderstorms and strong winds, with wind speeds exceeding 30 m/s in some areas. In addition to Lithuania, the cyclone affected Latvia, Estonia, Poland, and Belarus. By the evening of August 23, power supply to settlements in Belarus was fully restored.
