About 30 people picketed Latvia's Saeima, demanding restoration of Russian-language education

On August 28, about 30 people held a picket near the Saeima building in Latvia, demanding the restoration of Russian-language education. Signs called for adopting a law on minority schools, ensuring free choice of language of instruction, and fulfilling promises made by the People's Front. The event was organized by the Latvian Association for Support of Russian-Language Schools (LASHOR).
