Activists demand to cancel NATO nuclear exercises starting in Italy

The Italian peace organization PeaceLink has published a petition calling to stop the 'Steadfast Noon' military exercises, which are taking place from October 13 to 20 with the participation of 17 NATO countries. The organization states that conducting nuclear exercises is a dangerous escalation due to the lack of international dialogue on the issue. Moreover, such maneuvers could be perceived as preparation for a real attack.
