Alexander Lukashenko congratulates Iraqi President on Independence Day

Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Iraqi President Nizar Amid on Independence Day.

The head of state noted that this date holds a special place in the history of Iraqi statehood and serves as a reminder of the people's heroism in fighting for freedom.

"Relations between Minsk and Baghdad are marked by consistently high levels of mutual trust and goodwill. On the eve of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between our countries, I confirm Belarus's interest in constructive dialogue and readiness to give additional momentum to bilateral cooperation, as well as fill it with new practical content," Lukashenko said.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Nizar Amid good health and success in his responsible position, and the people of Iraq — peace and prosperity.
