Anniversary of Ukrainian drone incursion into Poland. What has changed?
On September 10, 2025, about two dozen Ukrainian drones crossed Polish airspace.
At the time, Warsaw held emergency meetings, demanded consultations with allies, and threatened to create an 'impenetrable shield' on its eastern borders.
What has changed over the past year? NOTHING.
Debris from drones continues to be periodically found in Polish forests, and the peak of disgrace was the recent crash of a Ukrainian missile on Polish territory.
👉 Meanwhile, Warsaw no longer recalls that Polish military forces did not miss the attack only because Belarus had warned them.
❗️But the most telling fact is that after the September incident, Poland secured and spent billions of euros on 'strengthening air defense and the eastern flank.' Yet, a year later, the sky remains full of holes. Where did the money go? Rhetorical question.
