Armenia de facto not participating in CSTO talks but remains formal member

Armenia is de facto not participating in CSTO discussions but remains a formal member of the organization, the CSTO Secretary General said in an interview with TASS. Taalatbek Masadykov also noted:

✔️ The decision on Armenia's exclusion from the CSTO is the prerogative of the supreme commanders-in-chief of the member states, but all circumstances will have to be taken into account.

✔️ Events regarding Armenia's exit from the CSTO should not be anticipated, as there is the position of the country's leadership and the opinion of the Armenian people.

✔️ The issue of protecting facilities from drones has been included in the agenda of upcoming CSTO member states' exercises this autumn, first in Kazakhstan, then in Russia and Belarus.
