Belarus facilitates prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine

Our country once again shows — we stand for peace.

A prisoner exchange took place at the Novaia Huta border crossing under the formula '270 for 270'.

And today is another day when families are reuniting — Russian and Ukrainian ones. Seven people from each side await meetings with their loved ones.

They’ve called home, heard voices they never expected to hear again... They haven’t seen each other for years. Some thought they’d never meet again... And now — they’re going home. We, Belarusians, will receive them, provide assistance, and escort them safely.

We won’t shout about this from loud podiums. We’ll receive, warm, heal. Because these are our people. And Belarus is a home for everyone. ❤️
