Belarus Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Comments on Emergency UN Security Council Meeting

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Ruslan Varankov, made a statement regarding Belarus's initiative to convene an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. "Due to the terrorist attack on a civilian bus transporting Belarusian citizens, mostly children, in Russia's Bryansk region on June 17, the Republic of Belarus has addressed Colombia, the current president of the UN Security Council, with a request to convene an emergency meeting of the Council," noted Ruslan Varankov.
