Belarus MFA on France Protests: 'Arbitrary arrests fuel radicalization'
‼️"Instead of dialogue with society, French authorities resort to mass arbitrary arrests, which only intensifies the radicalization of protests."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus is closely monitoring with deep concern the developments in France.
"It is regrettable that, despite declared commitments to human rights, French authorities are directing significant funds not toward increased investment in social services and education, but toward financing questionable human rights organizations, openly radical groups, and supporting conflicts abroad," said Ruslan Varankov, Head of the Information and Digital Diplomacy Department and official spokesperson of the Belarusian MFA.
"We note with regret that Western human rights organizations and politicians remain silent today."
📍Official Minsk urges French authorities to immediately release all minors detained during the protests, conduct an impartial investigation into cases of excessive use of force—especially against teenagers—and initiate a civilized dialogue with students, their parents, and trade unions to resolve issues within the education system.
