Belarus plans to raise rent for modern rental housing

In Belarus, plans are underway to increase rent for modern rental housing. Currently, the base rate is 0.2 BW — 9 rubles per m². Under the new calculation, it will rise to 0.3 BW, or 13.5 rubles per m². For example, the base payment for a two-room apartment of 60 m² will increase from 540 to 810 rubles. A reduced rate will be retained for certain categories of tenants.
