Belarus President advocates for complete and universal nuclear disarmament
Answering a question from journalist Melinda Karen Nusifora about the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, the head of state stated his principled position:
Today we say that nuclear weapons are a deterrent factor. But possessing nuclear weapons for all countries in the world is a dead-end path. Sooner or later, a nuclear conflict may arise, and the planet will be destroyed.
I am for nuclear disarmament. And this should apply to everyone: Russia, the USA, China, Israel, India, Pakistan, and other countries. It must involve all.
