Belarus proposes establishing SCO science fund

Lukashenko: "The third area of our cooperation is humanitarian.

We are grateful for the active participation of SCO countries in the Meeting of Ministers of Education, held for the first time this year in the capital of Belarus, as well as for the approved project 'Minsk Initiative', which provides for the creation of a consortium of universities and high-tech corporations of the SCO.

Belarus also proposes establishing a science fund for the organization to support the integration of scientific potential across our countries."

This tool will help support innovative research projects in various fields: from climate and ecology to smart agriculture, biotechnology, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.
