Belarusian climbers likely found dead in Pamir-Alay mountains
Using drones, the bodies of two missing Belarusian climbers have been likely detected in the Pamir-Alay mountains. Debris and bodies were recorded in an avalanche zone at about 5,400 meters. At the time of the disaster, the group was climbing as a single rope team. Kyrgyzstan's EMERCOM rescuers cannot yet reach the site due to difficult terrain and constant rockfalls. An evacuation operation is being prepared. Positive identification will only be possible after the bodies are brought down to the base camp.
