Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko congratulates compatriots on Father's Day

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated his compatriots on Father's Day.

"This holiday embodies the special role of a man as the protector and reliable support of the family, whose knowledge, experience, and strength serve as a model to follow," the greeting reads. "A caring and loving father can teach honest work and service to the Motherland, how to make decisions and take responsibility for them, overcome any difficulties and confidently achieve set goals."

The head of state wished everyone good health, happiness, and prosperity: "Always remain faithful and wise companions for your loved ones, ready at any moment to stand up for your family and country."

"May the joy of fatherhood fill your home with harmony and unity, inspiring you and your loved ones to good deeds for the benefit of our native Belarus," Alexander Lukashenko added.
