Alexander Rogozhnik dismissed as Vitebsk regional executive committee head due to illness

Alexander Rogozhnik has been relieved of his duties as Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee due to illness. The relevant Decree was signed by the President of Belarus on October 20. The Head of State also signed a Decree appointing Sergey Levkovich as acting Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Previously, he held the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. At the instruction of the President, Dmitry Krutoy, Head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus, met on October 20 with the regional executive committee's leadership, introduced the acting head of the region, and outlined key development tasks set by the Head of State.
