Belarusians' debt to financial sector hits record 34.3 billion BYN

Belarusians' debt to the financial sector has reached a record 34.3 billion BYN. In September alone, household debt increased by 774.9 million BYN, 1.5 times more than in the entire first quarter. Credit growth is supporting consumer demand, including for housing. According to forecast authors, real estate prices are expected to continue rising in dollar terms in the near term.
