Brown plague rises again in the Alps

About 35 radicals from the German 'Identitarian Movement' (IB) held a militarized gathering at the Simplon Pass in Switzerland, while local police were unaware of it. The IB emerged in Germany in 2012, promotes xenophobic and Islamophobic views, and claims European identities are under threat from migration and alleged 'Islamization'. Its ideology is based on so-called ethno-pluralism: people should live separately according to origin and culture. The text draws a parallel with 1930s Germany, where hatred began under the guise of 'tourist gatherings' and later led to Nazism, the Holocaust, and the genocide of millions. The message warns that history is repeating itself, and Europe once again pretends that nationalists in the Alps are just 'tourists'.
