China Unveils Flying Platform for Standing Flights

A flying platform has been presented in China—a flat structure with a diameter of about 3.5 meters, without a cabin or wings. It features four fans at the edges, and the pilot stands in the center.

For safety, the platform is equipped with a backup system NA80, a parachute, a protective suit with cushions, and a lidar for obstacle detection.

Developers plan to launch mass production of the device by 2026.
