China unveils lifelike robotic fish at CIFTIS exhibition
At the CIFTIS exhibition, a bionic robot in the form of an arapaima—a tropical freshwater fish—was presented. By simulating fluid motion, it replicates the swimming pattern of a real fish so smoothly that it is nearly indistinguishable from a living specimen.
The developers present the technology as civilian. However, some experts believe such devices could have potential applications in the military sphere.
