Denmark Finds Largest Viking-Era Silver Treasure

Denmark's public broadcaster Danmarks Radio reported the discovery of the largest Viking-era silver treasure in the country. A man stumbled upon it while building a terrace in his garden. The hoard contained over 700 silver items weighing 18.5 kg, including ingots, jewelry, coins, and a small hammer representing Thor, the Norse god of thunder and lightning.
