Donald Trump says he believes he can run for third presidential term

Donald Trump said he believes he has the right to run for a third presidential term, arguing that the 2020 election was fraudulent.

"We were cheated the second time because we won three times. So I feel I have the right to run again," the former U.S. president said during a speech in Iowa.

Trump acknowledged that the Constitution likely prohibits him from running again. According to the 22nd Amendment, no person can be elected president more than twice.
