Eastern Spain under highest weather alert due to heavy rains

The eastern part of Spain has been placed under the highest level of weather alert due to heavy rains, according to EFE agency. Strong rainfall has already caused flooding and river overflows. Around 100,000 students have had in-person classes suspended due to the adverse weather conditions.
