Ebola cases in DR Congo exceed 5,000, death toll reaches 2,378

The number of Ebola cases in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has exceeded 5,000, according to the Congolese Ministry of Health.

The current Ebola outbreak has resulted in 2,378 deaths. The fatality rate has reached 47.3%.
