Emergency drills held in Logoysk after powerful cyclone simulation
Emergency drills are underway in Logoysk to respond to the aftermath of a powerful cyclone. Emergency services are practicing their response to a simulated disaster scenario in which the region was hit by hurricane-force winds of up to 25 m/s, causing power lines to collapse and roads to be blocked. Over the next three days, rescuers will practice clearing debris and repairing damaged buildings. One of the tasks includes evacuating people stranded at height on a cableway.
