Erik Prince's New Company Offers Subscription-Based Air Defense
Erik Prince, founder of the American private military company Blackwater, has established a new company called Vectus Air Defense Systems, which will offer subscription-based air defense services, according to Axios. The company plans to integrate electronic warfare systems, artillery, and interceptors—already used in Ukraine and the Middle East—into a single service. Prince claims the new model will significantly reduce air defense costs and allow clients to independently protect critical infrastructure. The entrepreneur is also linked to drone production for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
