Estonia sees rise in fuel thefts, nearly 500 cases since May
In Estonia, the number of fuel thefts is rising — nearly 500 cases have been recorded in the country from May 1 to July 22. Most of these crimes occur at gas stations, but in recent years, fuel is increasingly being siphoned from parked cars, tractors, and logging equipment, local media report. Police cite rising fuel prices as one of the reasons.
