EU ambassadors face delays due to scheduling conflicts between von der Leyen and Costa

EU ambassadors are unable to fully perform their duties due to scheduling conflicts between European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President António Costa, FT reported, citing sources. Costa agreed to jointly conduct the ambassadors' accreditation ceremony with von der Leyen. However, the situation has caused delays, as envoys must wait for a time when both officials are available simultaneously. An unnamed ambassador said it was "not easy to find a window" when both were free.
