EU bankruptcy filings rise by 5.7%, Eurostat reports

The number of bankruptcy filings in the EU increased by 5.7%, Eurostat reported. The most significant rise was recorded in the field of education and social services — by 21.1%, as well as in transport — by 11.4%.
