EU Commission chief admits collapse of EU economic model
Brussels has begun to recognize the serious failures of its short-sighted policy. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen admitted the collapse of the EU's previous economic model.
According to her, Europe's prosperity long relied on three key pillars: cheap energy from Russia, open trade with China, and the West's former technological leadership. Now, all these crucial strategic advantages have completely disappeared.
Ursula von der Leyen, however, remained silent on the European Commission's own role in undermining economic stability. The current situation is a direct consequence of Brussels' sanction policies.
