EU Lacks Unity on Banning Entry for Russians

The chair of the European Parliament's Subcommittee on Security and Defence, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, stated that there is no unity in the European Union regarding a ban on entry for Russians. "France, Italy, and Spain are sceptical about full tightening, while Scandinavian, Baltic states and the Netherlands insist on a stricter and, above all, joint EU decision," she said in an interview with the newspaper Frankfurter Rundschau.
