EU Plans Sixfold Increase in Satellite Launches by 2034

European Commissioner Kubilius stated that the number of government satellites will grow from nearly 70 to about 630, commercial satellites will nearly double (currently around one thousand), and military satellites will reach approximately 300 (currently around 20), according to Financial Times.
